Image is Israeli interceptors trying and failing to intercept missiles over their cities.
Israel just carried out a widespread bombing of Iran, which has killed a number of senior officials inside Iran (though it seems the leadership is more-or-less intact) as well as a number of civilians. Important facilities have been targeted, but the amount of damage is unknown so far (note that many important Iranian facilities are deep underground, making them both hard to damage but also hard to determine if they are damaged from just satellite imagery, so reports of damage will be he-said-she-said).
It appears the attack took Iran by surprise, given that a residential block was targeted that contained some senior officials - if one saw an attack coming, one would imagine they'd be in bunkers. Nonetheless, like the rest of the Resistance Axis, I suspect that Iran has adapted their military structures to be resistant to decapitation strikes by ensuring that replacement figures are ready to take the place of killed officials.
Iran has delivered a massive missile barrage in response to Israeli aggression, even though Israel is continuing to bomb Iran. Iran is now aware of the location of many important Israeli sites, including secret nuclear sites, due to their recent intelligence haul, giving them a distinct edge.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.

Danish Public Schools in Crisis: Nearly 12% of Students Now Failing Basic Exams
Denmark’s public education system is crumbling. A new report from the Economic Council of the Labour Movement paints a bleak picture of educational decline, rising inequality, and mounting despair among the country’s working-class youth.
In the school year 2023/24, nearly 12 percent of Danish ninth-grade students failed both Danish and mathematics in their final exams, marking the highest failure rate since 2012. The trend is not isolated but growing, with failure rates increasing across all regions and social groups. The consequences are severe: without these basic qualifications, further education becomes nearly inaccessible, placing tens of thousands of children on a trajectory toward economic and social marginalization.
Particularly alarming is the projection that in 18 of Denmark’s municipalities, mainly rural and underdeveloped areas, one in four young men will have no formal education by 2031. In contrast, elite enclaves north of Copenhagen, such as Gentofte and Lyngby-Taarbæk, report minimal failure rates and project near-universal education completion. The country's richest continue to thrive while its poorest are left behind, reflecting a growing educational segregation in the Nordic hermit kingdom.
The deterioration of public education is attributed to years of neoliberal austerity and economic mismanagement. While the regime recently touted an investment in public schools, the supposed increase in funding fails to match inflation. Adjusted for rising costs, public schools are operating with less funding than in the previous year. Teachers report growing burnout, a concerning trend started by the 2013/14 school reform which stripped educators of professional autonomy, as a key reason for leaving the profession.
The result is a vicious cycle: public schools are understaffed, under-resourced, and increasingly serve only those who have no alternative. Meanwhile, more affluent families are opting for subsidized private schools, accelerating the drain of both resources and high-performing students from the public sector. Currently, about 20 percent of Danish students attend private schools, with the rate soaring to over a third among elite families.
This exodus has deepened segregation and further concentrated disadvantage within the public system. Schools in underfunded municipalities are now tasked with educating students with a higher concentration of special needs using fewer resources, often without the trained staff to support them.
Despite mounting evidence of systemic failure, the troubled nation's Social Democrat-led right-wing regime has continued to prioritize gradiose plans for aggressive military buildup over domestic social investment. Billions are being funneled into military expansion, while public schools, long considered the bedrock of Danish social mobility, are left to languish.

I see things are going great as usual in the Nordic hermit kingdom.
