What's weird is I can excuse more the people that actually dropped the bomb more than I can tolerate people who make up post-facto excuses for dropping the bomb. If it was 1945 and facing the slog of assaulting Japan and not knowing all the facts of a new thing I kinda get it. Even the people who set out to do evil like use it as a demonstration to threaten the world with. Because their whole idea was "if this works." If. They didn't truly know.

Meanwhile in 2025 the people with access to all the facts who say it was a good thing are just hideous. They gross me out so much more.
