Hey look, it’s the latest bullshit portmanteau invented by worthless thinkpiece “writers” to describe a concept that already has a normal word for it

Anyone else love to bare-back while planning their micro-retirement after a long day of quiet-quitting?

Reminds me of that word they invented during covid's work from home period; chrono something? Chrono theft maybe, because people only did their jobs and then relaxed when they were done rather than find more to do.

I think that was "quiet quitting," no?

Quiet quitting was quitting without giving two weeks notice. I think the term you lot are looking for is "time theft," i.e. not working 100% of the time you're at work. Of course, wage theft never gets brought up.

I think quiet-quitting is supposed to mean doing your job and not gifting your boss extra free labor outside your job description and off-the-clock

Oh my bad. That's so, so much worse Porky was freaking out LOL. Yeah, that's just called wage theft and unpaid overtime.
