Can't recall if you did or not, but have you had an x-ray?

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 4 points 9 months ago (2 children)

Nope, didn’t have any x-ray, doctor didn’t seem to think I needed one.

Regardless of whether you broke it or not, just immobilising it by taping it to the toe next to it would help. If it is broken, moving it around will impede its healing.

Drs won't do too much for a broken toe unless it's the big toe. 99% sure I broke mine stubbing it against the camphor chest I have, but I just taped it to the toe next to it for a few weeks/months, and it healed okay (there's still a bump either side but it works lol).

This is just my anecdotal experience.

Ah ok. Just dealing also with a lifted toenail issue. Only a minor and small one apparently so I’ve had to put dressing on.

Think part of the dressing is too fat as well because of the padding and too long.

I really hope it’s not broke or fractured.

I guess if you can bend the toe it's probably not broken. Could still be fractured though.

Most likely it's just a bad bump that needs more time to heal.

I can still bend it. I have the other problem of it healing from lightly lifted toe nail.

Only minor but there was a little bit of a tear.

you could have injured a tendon or ligament as well

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 3 points 9 months ago

Icing it up forgot to do that.
