I can imagine a redditor saying...
Look, ChatGPT+ is a damn bargain. You get aiWritr, aiReadr, aiThinkr, aiMovieMakr, aiDirectr, aiActr, aiCGI, aiSongwritr, aiSingr, aiGuitarist which is awesomeness (and other instruments too of course), aiArtist, aiMashup+. And stuff like aiPaintr, aiPoetrMakr, and aiGF - if you're into that. Plus the VRplugin can make stuff like aiGF more.... um... interactive.
You jest, but
(The aforementioned $200/mo plan does exist as well. OpenAI is not good at names, with o1->o3->o4->o3-pro and ChatGPT plus and ChatGPT pro being very different plans.)
They should hire me. I'll work for cheap*.

Cheap compared to ML researcher TC for sure. You could write a book on the culture of OpenAI (and Anthropic, although that's a bit different) — a ton of employees there genuinely think that they will create AGI and bring the singularity. From what I've read, it's a cult-like environment of very highly paid people who are big into effective altruism and effective altruism. Not quite to the degree of the Zizians, but closer than I'd like.
"Oh yeah, some people like gifs instead of image macros, what a funny remark!"
"Interactive VR gifs? Seems like a tech bro thing, but I can see the ap-- "
