Rules:

1. Be civil

Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.

2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.

Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

Ten years after the Supreme Court extended marriage rights to same-sex couples nationwide, the justices this fall will consider for the first time whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn that decision.

Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for six days in 2015 after refusing to issue marriage licenses to a gay couple on religious grounds, is appealing a $100,000 jury verdict for emotional damages plus $260,000 for attorneys fees.

In a petition for writ of certiorari filed last month, Davis argues First Amendment protection for free exercise of religion immunizes her from personal liability for the denial of marriage licenses.

Biden overrode Congress in multiple occasions to spend hundreds of millions of us tax dollars to rush bombs to Israel. To me, that’s 100% on board with genocide.

After Harris already had the nom, she said her policy on Gaza would not differ from Biden’s at all. And then she went on tour with Liz Cheney. To me, that’s 100% on board with genocide too.

And yet, he also negotiated the only cease fires that actually happened. Israel violated those cease fires, Harris made some noises about being skeptical... If quiet noises

Whereas Trump was calling for a new Trump tower in Gaza.

You see how one option was significantly worse right?

No, you still aren’t getting it. I’m saying if Dems held a primary election, we could have voted for someone who actually wanted to stop the genocide. Immediate ceasefire can be achieved by stopping all financial and arms shipments to Israel until they comply with full ceasefire and let international aid workers in. Dems refused us this option, then useful idiots show up afterwards and try blaming the voters for this mess we’re in, instead of who should be blamed - the politicians who are bought and paid for by Israel/AIPAC. It’s disgusting, they serve a foreign government before us. For that matter, do you even know who Biden was throughout his career? There is perhaps no other US politician more up Israel’s ass, and that is really saying something.

Those little ceasefires in the first year were simply testing the waters for how much Israel could get away with while the US protected them from the UN and ICC. Turns out, it’s unlimited genocide and total land theft.

Just because you didn't bother to vote in the primary, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Sure, basically no one bothered to run against Biden, but he won't it fair and square.

Or do you mean having a second primary after the media blitz forced Biden to drop out?

Since you don't seem to have a long term memory, I'll remind you that there were several court battles in various states launched by Republicans trying to get Harris kicked off the Ballot, because again, Biden won the primary.

Those efforts fell apart, but only because Harris was on the Primary ticket.

And yes, Harris also fucked up by letting Hillary Clinton's campaign manager run her campaign.

Or we can talk about Biden going back on his initial promise of serving a single term and retiring.

That's only a single one of Biden's many failures, starting with appointing Marrick Garland.

But what we should not be talking about is a bunch of whiny bitches who complain about not getting a special second primary election when they finally bothered to start paying attention to politics after a bad debate performance by Biden.
