Had this happen at work today and my colleagues looked at me like I was a madman for tying both shoes again, instead of just the one that got loose. But doing both shoes again just makes more sense, because you ensure both shoes are equally tight again.

Am I just weird for doing this?

I only re tie the loose one, I've never heard of anyone redoing both. But your logic is sound. ๐Ÿ˜†

I retie both about half the time because often times when one side comes loose, the other side is close to being undone. That way I don't have to bend down twice in a short time (I have chronic pain).
