There are already companies manufacturing solid state batteries, it's not like this is a theory, it's still in its early stages but these are real

When I installed pop! Os (on my ssd) it was laggy and a little glitchy, it's like the whole os would just freeze up sometimes. It really got on my nerves. I prefer nobara, it's so snappy and fast, everything just feels better than windows, and it's way more customizable. But there is definitely a higher learning curve and some small weird glitches you have to deal with so I wouldn't recommend it to someone without intermediate knowledge

We had a Democrat governor, it's not that simple

Edit: I'm not saying voting isn't important, I'm just saying it's not always that simple. There's a lot more that needs to be done outside of that.

This was thankfully debunked as fake

Edit; I looked for the post, I couldn't find it, IM SORRY. There was evidence that she made it up for clout but I don't remember anything more than that.

I understand cheating is shitty but it would make a lot more sense for the teacher to make this a teachable moment about cheating, and to promote collaborative solutions, but also checking work you get from others.

A huge part of development is copying code and reusing code from libraries. The important part is that you know how the code you copy works.

I think you'll come to realize that it isn't your attention span but rather the amount of mental energy you have left after working a 9 to 5 for 5 days a week

You realize this is about books right? This is about free and easy access to books. Like a digital library. Don't be ridiculous.

I think we need to start caring about how laws affect the preservation of data, this is ridiculous.

Since the much earlier version of this app, the sidebar has been basically unusable, it almost completely freezes up anytime I do anything on it. Is there any fix for this? Is this a know issue? What's going on?

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how the sidebar renders my subscriptions. As soon as they load everything in the sidebar takes forever.

This is the thing that has kept me from using this app despite basically being theost feature rich lemmy app.
