This is exactly what every conservative wants us to believe to prevent any true change lol
Yeah, if we want change we have to vote for the status quo party, everyone knows that.
If we want changes, we have to fight for those changes and change the party from within, like Zohran or AOC are doing. If we treat the only alternative to fascism as a lost cause, and try to make a new party that will never get over 3% and push all progressive opinions out of the mainstream, that's 100% what they are begging for.
What do you think "fighting" consists of in this context? If you think fighting is voting in a system I can see failing in real time and sporadic, controlled protest then please do us both a favor and don't bother replying.
The current Democratic party is fascist, not an alternative. They literally support the modern Holocaust. AOC has basically been fully captured by the party and Zohran is being attacked by it.
Conservatives are totally fine with you voting for the billionaires which own both parties.
You are saying what conservatives want us to believe.
Conservatives want "us" to believe that a NYC mayor Zohran or a president AOC is not possible so that we don’t even try, because that would really hurt them (and theirbillionaires).
Trying to make a new party that will never get over 3% and push all progressive opinions out of the mainstream is just a gift to them.
AOC is already a lost cause. Zohran has some momentum behind him, but he is running for NYC mayor (and the whole DNC is against him)
I’m sorry, I’m not taking the accelerationist pill. Not voting for the largest “not-Trump” party is a vote for Trump. Voter suppression has always been the strategy.
The largest not-trump party takes advantage of that situation.
