What HAS gone broke because of “wokeness”? Mario movie was woke, until it wasn’t. Street Fighter 6 was woke until it wasn’t. RE4 Remake was woke until it wasn’t. Then we have examples where things were bad without any “wokeness”, but right wingers latched on to that anyway, like Battlefield V (1 falls under “woke until it wasn’t”).
Bud Light is the example they give in the article. It still hasn't recovered on the stocks.
Because they punished the executives who talked to a trans woman and now neither side will claim the swill.
That's a lesson in waffling, not political correctness.

Name even 3 of that plethora.
To be fair, it’s easy to make up examples that fit the anti-woke trope — just name any movie, game or TV show with strong female/non-straight/minority characters that didn’t achieve record sales. That Scooby-Doo show, She Hulk, the Cleopatra thing, etc.
