I used to do this to teachers I didn't like in high school. My biology teacher eventually just let me sleep in class to avoid it.

So you used to research the topic and become overly familiar with it to the point you could recite answers and ask pertinent questions. And your teacher gave you a pass on sleeping becuase they rightly realized you were... now hear me out on this... doing the work and educating yourself. You sure got one up on those bad teachers! ;)

I've myself started teaching some years ago and came to conclusion that shitty teachers that I had in school still taught me a very important lesson - how NOT to do teaching.
