I haven't bought VR but man I was so excited for the Steam Frame. I desperately want to play Half Life Alyx.

It supports teleportation movement (where you point at a place and you're transported there instantly), which is way better on the 'ol inner ear.

Yeah it's not going to be cheap, but I don't really care? A cheap one would suck.

It's not for everybody. Specifically I never recommend it.

To be fair it does have a ton of extra costs for hardware features not everyone is going to use, I mean they have a standalone processor but most people are just going to use their PC.
