Think its just built in such a way that federation isn't needed. Your server data is just your server.

Can change it if you want: Settings > System, and scroll down to 'About', change the name and restart.

Seems like the problem is maybe Steam running with SteamDeck=1?

Given that we have no AI laws, honestly probably not a stupid decision, just very unethical one.

Could probably also add some sort of time element - the increase increases over time to also help push companies to sell their homes over time instead of all at once - plus maybe push people to sell 2nd and 3rd homes they're renting

Its actually a bit different conclusion.

The conclusion of the rain_enjoyer paper is:

While support of this hypothesis would have led to novel avenues of research and potential novel therapies, the results of current study suggest that blindness does not protect against schizophrenia.

So a conclusion of "we still dont know" is quite different.

Really funny that, the thing Microsoft used to try and ~~prevent people from using Linux~~ secure systems, was broken this entire time due to laziness revolving around ensuring Linux worked via Secure Boot.

The gaffe is the result of the failure by Microsoft, which oversees the signing of shims, to revoke the publicly available images once vulnerabilities were found in them.

In this study, we directly examined whether congenital blindness protects against a schizophrenia-related phenotype in the methylazoxymethanol acetate (MAM) rodent model.

You could argue that rodent models are insufficient to model schizophrenia in humans since it does not appear to follow reality

This week, New Jersey became the tenth state to pass a bill allowing residents to purchase small plug-in solar installations, bypassing longstanding utility permitting laws. But the New Jersey bill went one step further, expanding plug-in solar access for renters by prohibiting landlords and homeowners’ associations from blocking them

Really awesome news - now perhaps someday my condo HOA will install some EV chargers...

“You have a lion, a bear, an alligator and... a squirrel. OK, which is the squirrel?” Trump recounted at the event.

The question involving a cat, a dog, and a raccoon were too challenging, I'm sure.

Any wireless headphones people would recommend?

I currently have a pair of Arctis 7Xs that I use the Xbox adapter with while dual booting windows - I'd like to find something that isn't so finicky and works with both OSes (mostly so I can boot into Windows less...) while also working over 2.4Ghz for low latency.

Bonus points if you can also connect a phone other Bluetooth

Ten years after the Supreme Court extended marriage rights to same-sex couples nationwide, the justices this fall will consider for the first time whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn that decision.

Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for six days in 2015 after refusing to issue marriage licenses to a gay couple on religious grounds, is appealing a $100,000 jury verdict for emotional damages plus $260,000 for attorneys fees

The U.S. military is said to be preparing to activate National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., as part of President Trump’s crackdown on crime.

Sort of depressing that someone standing up and contradicting Trump is news...

Attorney General Pam Bondi informed President Trump in the spring that his name appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files, according to three people with knowledge of the exchange.

The disclosure came as part of a broader briefing on the re-examination of the case by F.B.I. agents and prosecutors. It was made by Ms. Bondi during a meeting that also included the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, and covered a variety of topics. Ms. Bondi frequently meets with Mr. Trump to brief him on various matters, officials said.

The lower chamber was originally scheduled to be in session through Thursday, but votes were scrapped as Democrats and some Republicans push for a floor vote to force the release of the Epstein files. Lawmakers will now head home until Sept. 2, after votes on Wednesday afternoon.

Trump initially sought to negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran — one to replace the Obama-era agreement that he abandoned, despite Iran's apparent compliance, in 2018.

I feel like this doesnt get enough attention.

Dude threw away a winning hand and is now at the table naked.
