This is a shit article, from what's clear to be a shit author Kyle Orland, Ars' Senior Gaming Editor.

Yea agreed - though it does make an important point (in perhaps the opposite way it should have been made). Local water use is being impacted greatly - it may not lead to us having no water nationally, but its absolutely leading local communities to struggle to get people water.

Water use is probably a drop in the bucket, but the electrical use sure as hell isn't.

We're supposed to be curbing fossil fuel use, instead we're burning our way to hell to mint trillionaires.

Will be very interesting to see what they do for cost.

Kind of hope they sell it as a loss leader to help push VR development/adoption/saveusfromthisAIpricehellscape

In at least one case, Ubisoft justified the embargo by saying that staff in Belgrade were still being informed at the time, according to reporters to whom Aftermath spoke.

Alright that makes sense.

But Ubisoft did, to a degree, put reporters in a bind, with some who agreed to the embargo telling Aftermath that Ubisoft did not specify the nature of the embargo before they said they’d adhere to it; the company only mentioned that it was going to announce something soon. Had reporters known more about what they were agreeing to, they might not have done so as readily, or at all.

Hey now what the fuck

Ah... shes a bit neurotic using her card online. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kind of sad - my fiancé really preferred purchasing them to avoid using her card (and sort of give herself an allowance).

Meanwhile legacy US automakers are busy trying to bury their heads in the sand again. I'm sure that will end well for the US economy and consumers.

“You have a lion, a bear, an alligator and... a squirrel. OK, which is the squirrel?” Trump recounted at the event.

The question involving a cat, a dog, and a raccoon were too challenging, I'm sure.

Any wireless headphones people would recommend?

I currently have a pair of Arctis 7Xs that I use the Xbox adapter with while dual booting windows - I'd like to find something that isn't so finicky and works with both OSes (mostly so I can boot into Windows less...) while also working over 2.4Ghz for low latency.

Bonus points if you can also connect a phone other Bluetooth

Ten years after the Supreme Court extended marriage rights to same-sex couples nationwide, the justices this fall will consider for the first time whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn that decision.

Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for six days in 2015 after refusing to issue marriage licenses to a gay couple on religious grounds, is appealing a $100,000 jury verdict for emotional damages plus $260,000 for attorneys fees

The U.S. military is said to be preparing to activate National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., as part of President Trump’s crackdown on crime.

Sort of depressing that someone standing up and contradicting Trump is news...

Attorney General Pam Bondi informed President Trump in the spring that his name appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files, according to three people with knowledge of the exchange.

The disclosure came as part of a broader briefing on the re-examination of the case by F.B.I. agents and prosecutors. It was made by Ms. Bondi during a meeting that also included the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche, and covered a variety of topics. Ms. Bondi frequently meets with Mr. Trump to brief him on various matters, officials said.

The lower chamber was originally scheduled to be in session through Thursday, but votes were scrapped as Democrats and some Republicans push for a floor vote to force the release of the Epstein files. Lawmakers will now head home until Sept. 2, after votes on Wednesday afternoon.

Trump initially sought to negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran — one to replace the Obama-era agreement that he abandoned, despite Iran's apparent compliance, in 2018.

I feel like this doesnt get enough attention.

Dude threw away a winning hand and is now at the table naked.

A reminder to support your local public broadcast station, and of Mr. Rogers testifying before Congress (and actually making a conservative switch stances - that won't happen today)
