MODERATORS

Some of the posts have said that Yemenis who arrive on the front lines are generally prohibited from leaving until they complete a one-year contract with the Russian military.

Many have described conditions far harsher than anything they had experienced in Yemen's bloody war, with some actively warning others not to come.

Meanwhile, some of the accounts MEE has been monitoring have failed to post any updates for several months, lending speculation that they may have been killed in action.

A handful of those who have appeared in videos have appealed to the Yemeni government for help in bringing them back.

The reason the general quality of russian infantry sucks is because the russian military is a predatory institution that produces russian infantry brigades as its victims who are then leveraged to create even more victims. This isn't to excuse the choices of individuals to fight in this illegal offensive war against Ukraine, rather it is to point out that frontline Ukrainian troops and frontline russian troops are at a strategic level expressions of fundamentally different things.

Thanks for that article, I had missed that

CNN and La Verdad reported that a 50cm by 50cm hole found in the vessel’s hull – with the damaged metal facing inwards – could have been made by a super-fast weapon known as a supercavitating torpedo.

“Only the United States, a few Nato allies, Russia and Iran are believed to have this kind of high-speed torpedo, which fires air ahead of the weapon to reduce the drag of the water,” said CNN.

Someone got serious about not letting NK have those reactors!
