I am confused by people who don't like fascists who also think it makes them look bad to have assaulted cops. Like, why're you trying to make them sound based?

I think the hope is to appeal to more "reasonable" republicans that love licking thin blue lines off of cops boots, by pointing out that these people hurt some of their boot daddies.

I'm not convinced it is working very much.
