Look, your head is small and there’s not enough room in here for me and all my things. I know there’s no rent and such, but I hope it’s okay if I move out. Living in your head rent-free just isn’t fun.
You’re not going to save American democracy by calling other leftists assholes.
Look, I haven’t blocked anybody on Lemmy and I’m not about to start now.
Just, be good, please? Just follow the rules, be civil, and participate with a good heart in this space the same as the rest of us?
I’ve said not one mean thing about you, never called you a swear and never said anything with an ill intent. None of my comments were removed cause they followed the rules. Meanwhile, the mods in /c/politics are quite frustrated with you, because you kept on breaking rule three, which is to be kind and civil. It’s all in your modlog.
I get that you’re in Canada, judging by your username and your instance, but I’m not sure you get how truly bad it is down here. The last thing we need is for someone swearing at us and saying mean things. We’re trying to survive, we’re trying to thrive, and we’re doing our best with the limited resources and power we’ve got.
Stop calling people like me assholes, simply because we point out that you’re breaking community rules.
Canconda said, before deleting their comment:
This is true.
Yup. I accidentally hit enter and knew you would accuse me of a ninja edit if I finished the comment.
You said something true and you said it without lashing out and you only said it once.
Keep doing that.
One day, you might meet me. When that day comes, if that day comes, I hope you are nicer in real life than you are online.
IRL I would ignore you and walk away. You're antagonizing me and a shitty person for doing so.
If me being polite to you is causing you to be mean to me, that’s not my problem.
Just put the personal attacks away on the internet, yeah?
I’m not gonna be able to reply to this cause I have a gig tonight, between the driving, the setup, the stage time, and the collapsing in a heap afterward.
Be good. You can do it.
Look, if taking the blame for this will get you to shape up and stop dealing insults and anger and such, I will gladly enter a guilty plea, but I do worry about you.
Please be good.
Your reply in "Hawaii just entirely removed corporations' power to spend money in politics. This could be a game changer for US democracy." was removed as personal attacks (rule d)2). Please don't chase such ego-matching lines of conversation under upliftingnews.
