There was a bloke on today's tram (no.11) announcing that from Monday (1/6/26) we'd need to start touching off & on again, but that fare would be half price. Quite a good idea I thought - remind people to load up their mykis after a long couple of months when we didn't have to.

They're just waiting silently, patiently in the shadows.. biding their time.. as soon as the clock turns 12... be afraid.. very afraid (even if your myki is valid.. there's an itch to scratch).

Perhaps turn over the responsibility for enforcement to the Fluffybutt Strays gang.

I didn't like they were telling people not to touch on when things were free. It would have helped track numbers to make a case for it to be free all the time
