How many pedals do you play shows with?

[–] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Depends how many power sockets are available.

Just get a power supply, problem solved.

Set up a giant hamster wheel connected to a battery with a meter. Ask for a few volunteers to come on stage to run it. Tell them they have about 7 seconds between stopping the wheel and the battery running out, so that's how fast transitions need to happen for the show to keep playing.

I had a former coworker who started on a proper Martin. Made me sick. Money definitely doesn't buy talent.

There's a famous actor guy who got into pottery and even though his stuff is meh all of a sudden he's an ceramic expert and is mass producing his designs. Kinda pisses me off that those of us who are not already famous have to work 20xs harder to get out stuff out in the world and he just gets a pass because he's an actor.

If you can afford it, properly setup good quality instruments (particularly guitars) are much easier to play.
