That's an uncivilized response. Don't take choice of vocabulary as sign of civilization.

Good question.
His rude and aggressive tone, for one. Totally unnecessary.
And his apparent ignorance of the fact that there are other solutions for another.
I think you’re just adding tone where there isn’t any. His reply doesn’t seem aggressive. He’s just expressing shock and dismay that someone would invite more government tracking into their vehicle willingly.
But he said the F word. On the internet.

If you want to interact with people online, you’re going to not have to act like a child when they say the word fuck.
It wasn’t even said with any anger towards you, the fact that you could be offended by that is mind boggling.
