The tomatoes and peppers aren’t going to like this at all. ~100mm of rain as well over a few days.

Hurry, cry over the plants, don’t waste it!

We are a “desert prairie” climate, this could be all the rain we get other than random thunderstorms all year. And the last few years we had watering restrictions (main breaks), got rain barrels at that time to collect stuff for emergencies.

City council also introduced mandatory watering restrictions (meant for lawns mainly) to be permanent too.
