The scientists then reproduced the gut yeast in a fridge.

So they didn't actually destroy any part of the mummy, they just used bacteria sourced from the mummy that they multiplied anyways for further study.

Yes, but isnt it pOssible that those batteries may have come from an extra-terrestrial source, as some ancient astronaut theorists believe?
