Sadly it has become less enforced over time, and now the right wing (of course) state governor and city mayor even wants to transform the most known street corner (it was even mentioned in a famous song) into a "Times Square" ^[https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXXjMvukVZn/]
I was about to comment that. The law has been chipped away slowly and there's some loopholes that let huge led screens blind you out advertising shit
