I don't agree with them playing dirty. It's the final and the play is intense. Look at what everyone else is doing to wemby. If he was sga hed get the whistle every attack. I think they are fantastic finals. And spurs have a bright future either way.
Using SGA as a scapegoat is hilarious seeing as he didn’t have the whistle in the WCF. The ghoul Adam Silver has chosen their latest cashcow, and it’s definitely not the small market OKC team.
Wemby is a whiny, short-tempered, and admittedly great player. But he’s a hypocrite and not a role-model people should be looking up to, unless they are whiny and short-tempered too.
I'm not using him as a scapegoat, but as a fun example that is used frequently nowadays. I don't even need him for an example, he was just put there for fun.
Is wemby whiny and short tempered? I don't think so. At least not compared to many of the players that are known to whine and players that are known to have a short temper. Is he a perfect saint of a person? No. Is he a hypocrite? No idea, don't know him.
Took him just one play-off run to get 3 flagrant points, 5 if you count his assault on Alvarado and Brunson. Steph Curry gets manhandled for more than a decade and never really got into that much trouble.
Should we be supporting retaliation now if you feel you’re being targeted? It’s not like Castle was defending against SGA and Brunson cleanly, Spurs are just crybabies.
It's just silly to say that. About any team.
I disagree. Wemby plays center, not some small little guard on the perimeter even though he's built like a skinny little orphan. Front court play is physical. I can't believe every single one of you Wemby fans don't ever watch how bigs play. Watch Jokic. Embiid. Barnes. Any center or PF. They are body-wrestling arm-wrestling under the rim. GO WATCH how other centers and power forwards play. What he deals on offense he does the same thing on defense. It's a nothingburger.
So now I'm a wemby fan that never watched how centers play. Ok.
