This reminds me of when my Dad had me watch Old Yeller with him. We literally had a dog named Yeller that looked nearly identical and was the dad of my puppy. Needless to say I was a very traumatized 4 year old after watching it.

that's true, i guess it should be called a good movie. but still fuck that movie. there's enough depressing shit going on in real life, i watch movies to escape, not feel even worse
There are certain movies that you watch once and you never watch again.
That is one of them. I refuse to ever watch the movie again.
Just like I will never watch the Jurassic Bark episode of Futurama ever again.
I had the exact same reaction after reading Where the Red Ferns Grow, I read that right after Of Mice and Men. No wonder I like Slavic media I'm just as depressive as that lot.
As a slav myself, you basically already fullfill the requirements of being one, in case you want that is, it's optional of course

I had to read the book during summer vacation, I was in shambles thinking about it all the time for the rest of the summer
