Someone please translate. The only part i understand is the bump of coke. I know what a gonk is in sw but they dont have arms iirc
Cyberpunk 2077 meme. Solo is an independent mercenary hired to do dangerous jobs. Gonk is slang for punk. Eddies is slang for money. Strong solos with lots of cyberware could easily rip a normal person in half.
Solo is not an independant mercenary. Solo is a beefy heavy gun type.
It comes the tabletop rpg. If you make a combat character who's powerful enough to solo the enemy with minimal help from the rest of the party, that's a solo. Rocket launchers, HMG, weapons with kinda broken rules, heaps of hit points, etc.
Thanks! I wasn't clear on the distinction.
In cyberpunk 2077, a solo is explicitly any merc able to get shit done solo. Heavy is not a requirement.
It’s from cyberpunk:
Basically the guy hired a mercenary bodyguard for cheap and the bodyguard went off the rails and tore some dude’s arms off.
It’s relatable because this kind of thing happens all the time in cyberpunk - it might even be hinting a little at cyberpsychosis, where a person has so many cybernetic implants that they go crazy on the violence.
I really need to play that game. I have it waiting in my library and just havent had the spoons to dive into a new rpg adventure lately. This is the 3rd time its come up for me this week though lmao
It looks great at 1080p on almost any card with 8GB VRAM but the more the better. The baked in lighting is superb. Even on medium settings it's beautiful. Also runs better on linux AMD so if you have a steam deck it plays well.
Shit, here I've been putting it off because I built my rig cheap in 2018 and it's starting to show it's age, but that's basically my exact stats!
Every so often I replay it by starting new characters with different builds and I always 100% the questing. It’s v fun.
Definitely worth the time and effort.
Reference to Cyberpunk 2077. Eddies is slang for Eurodollars, the currency n the game. Gonk is slang for idiot.
