A new fucking mindslaver? Are www in mirrodin again?!
I can say I've not seen a single political party try to do anything about the systemic racism and race oppression in this nation, in my life time. 8 years with a black president doesn't mean anything when the national standard is still to oppress minorities. So no, they aren't out here calling people slurs, but they certainly aren't doing anything to improve it and that makes them guilty enough.
I'm more inclined to believe it was a least awful choice. He was a billionaire. Even with all the proof against him, he was never going to be in a normal prison. He killed himself because he had dirt on someone who had keys to the box they were going to put him in and dying on your own was a hell of a lot better than what they might do.
I still hold that an Anakin did exactly what he was destined to do. At the end of the 3rd move he destroys the Jedi. A light side exploiting dogmatic order that had, at the time, near total monopoly on force sensitivity in the galaxy. At the end of the 6th movie, he kills palpatine and dies himself. Thus ending the reign of the sith. This leaves only Luke, who never completed his training to be a true Jedi and was not above force choking people and allowing worldly attachment to sway him but is also generally good aligned.
No light, no dark, just folks. Perfectly balanced.
Don't be embarrassed my dude. In a world like this, we all gotta take motivation where we can find it.
I'm so excited to see you get to one year of gaming. I was just starting to get into Lemmy when you started and your posts have been a comfort one these dark times
Short answer is yes. If I made the decision to loan my car to someone and they intentionally committed a crime with it, I think I should be investigated for my involvement. If it turns out I had no reason to suspect this was going on, cool. If it turns out this was a problem waiting to happen, then I'm responsible for my role in it.
Now the hammer is a bit of a mess, because it is not difficult to acquire a hammer so you would have a hard time saying the crime couldn't have been committed if not for my specific hammer.
It's right there in the comment. You took the effort to store your guns in the manner required by the law and they got stolen by someone with markedly more skill than average. You're not to blame. Now if you leave your gun in your toolbox in the back of your truck or casually on your night stand, there's a problem and it isn't the skill level of burglars.
Personally I wholly believe that gun owners should be held as accomplice to any crimes committed with their stolen firearms if it was acquired through negligence.
Edit to say I'm a gun owner.
Of course, supes is white!
Same. I'm still upset that Skyrim has been released so many times and they haven't changed a single thing in it. They could have implemented the fallout 4 material management or decorating for player homes, they could have fixed the stupid necromancers amulet mission, they could have added more content, literally anything. No, you buy the same game that came out in the fucking teens and you accept that anything added to it will be shitty cash grabs.
Fuck, if they just released a new dlc every few years people would be happy.
