We need a new Aaron Swartz to bash these fuckers. Alas Linus is kinda apolitical and Greg is evil.
There's some pretty good analysis from Gamer Nexus iirc about some of this stuff. The contradictions are so damn sharp in the tech sphere, it's kind of abysmal how much the hype bubble has yet to significantly pop. That Keynes quote comes to mind about how the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. Also Wiley Coyote hanging in the air off the edge of the cliff, but not yet realizing he's about to plummet into the depths.
