Yeah. Mike Johnson openly admitted he is protecting them.
This is how organized crime works. Everyone is dirty, so everyone supports the organization for self-preservation. Anyone who steps out of line gets thrown under the bus. The mob doesn't trust anyone they don't have dirt on.
Which makes it fragile as fuck despite how efficient it may appear.
The mob only appears efficient if you don't mind a whole lot of extra-judicial murder.
