I have weirdo trying to say I made a bomb threat to flag the auto-mod system. Besides blocking him, what do you think is the best way to avoid stalking? I'd prefer to stay on the platform and not let gross dudes like that win by silencing me. I'm pretty sure it's just a random teenager from Australia. I mostly talk about animals and welfare on my account.

Why does this person need to prove they’re being harassed? Especially when they’re not even calling out the specific user.

Because crybullying & swatting are a thing, so as a lemmy.ml admin, I’m not going to take moderation actions based on unsubstantiated claims.

As an admin, you should probably work on understanding the difference between someone asking the community for advice and someone reaching out to you directly as an admin.

Nobody asked for you to do that, they asked for your advice, which you provided.
