If someone answered Ba'al that's evidence enough tbh, they get the nod of respect.
I'm not sure if I could even name ten distinct Goa'uld off the top of my head
Ra was, the first one the Tau'ri added to their tally.
Just name random gods and you'll probably get it.
That's a good point. For someone who is not a mythology buff or anything, it would probably be more difficult to name off 10 obscure gods whose names were not ever used as Stargate characters.
Cronos, Nirrti, and Amaterasu are the only others I can remember off the top of my head.
I got to 17. I can add some (mostly) lesser Goa'uld to the list:
I forgot some I should've remembered like Amaunet.
Isis is mentioned in dialog but does not appear on screen. I don't recall Ares at all, though Chronos made a few appearances.
Ares is only mentioned in a single episode, when we meet his first prime. The only reason that obscure character came to mind here is because of that post I made here recently about that first prime.
