These stats capture 1 year of torrenting on a TrueNas scale machine I built as soon as fiber showed up on my street. It was my first ever proper rack mount server. I use this machine primarily for torrenting and jellyfin transcoding via an RTX 2080. The plan is to soon set it up for navidrome. Machine sits around 230 watts. Haha yep, the CPU is honestly not a good fit at all... The only reason I used it is because I already had it. I decided to build this server mostly from parts scavenged off my old gaming PC. I rationalize the choice since the server sits in a basement that I struggle to keep warm. You've got me thinking though... It might be worth it to get into the BIOS and make sure I'm on ECO mode, at least.
