I know more colleges did used to offer home ec - I remember taking a history class in a building that had been used for that purpose, and I was at a state school.

It’s not unusual to have “health” classes that do involve some meal planning/learning recipes - I’ve tutored both high schoolers and college kids who’ve had those classes. The college version seems to typically be online though, which is of limited use.

I’d love to take the clothing construction classes. It’d be fascinating to compare a votech sewing course versus an art school fashion design course versus this.
