How does Lemmy -> Piefed* work? (quokk.au)

I made a Piefed* account, but I can't see the comments and posts from my Lemmy account. Or vice versa. What's up with that? Is there a "wall" between these communities?
Is there a way to transfer posts etc from one account to another?

ActivityPub federation is very complicated, and I don’t have a full understanding of it myself. I’ve never come across a situation like this one before, where a user on one instance appears to not exist at all from the viewpoint of another instance that’s federated with it.

I do know that, compared to Lemmy, Piefed is buggy, and PyLova, as a soft fork of Piefed, presumably is buggy as well. You might try asking in a Piefed/PyLova support community. Maybe they’ve encountered this before.

Yeah it seems very complicated. I think I'll stick to my Lemmy account for now, it has all my post history and stuff as well. I might retry Piefed again after a while to see if it works better, my account will be waiting for me. Thanks for the help!
