Keeping it simple is a valid strategy, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Also more sustainable.

Even more so once one dies of exposure from being incorrectly dressed. (Some places have nice weather. Some places have weather that changes enough that different jackets/coats are critical.)

Bully for you.

I was reacting to a comment where I interpreted that the person felt constrained by their adhd to not own very many items of outerwear.

I wasn't trying to give universal fashion advice.
