Also all of these politicians say this shit then when running for office, they weltch in it right after they get in, if that's what you mean. Justin said it, jag said it, fairly sure PP said it, idk if carney said it it but I wouldn't be suprised if they did.
The issue is that Canadians are horrible at demanding their representatives pass electoral reform.
