feels like minus the generative part of it the same sort of novelty that people find appealing about llm bullshit
making and sharing stuff is fun, not their fault ai bros are parasitizing that part of our brains
You could see this as an attack on tamogotchi life or perhaps it's also not random weirdos fault that the technology underlying it will destroy the planet when they find it amusing to imagine "courtroom sketch of Godzilla v Kong" and don't want to pay for a commissioned drawing or care about the implications to the art world

I think tamogotchi life's worst crime is the mii aesthetic for which i think it should be endlessly and relentlessly mocked alone. i find it more soulless than llm slop. it's literally the corporate memphis of avatar design
