I feel like the research done for GoT was a bunch of dudes binging chanbara movies (couldn't be me
) and trying to write based on that. The fact that it had a "Kurosawa visual mode" that was just grayscale and film grain or something like that was telling.
Kinda crap story, but it was a pretty game with solid vibes like you said.
