The context is that he was posting on a news article about a fake police officer with SS tattoos carrying weapons to intimidate BLM protestors in Las Vegas.

If you have a Nazi logo tatted on you and you claim to be politically literate, YOU CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

I had a disagreement with a lib colleague of mine that even if the Nazi heads of NATO were telling the truth about having been forced to join the Nazis, it's still an extremely powerful position to put someone who was a former Nazi.

I also tried asking him a very basic question, "If the former Nazis HAD joined the Nazi party willingly, are you saying you believe they'd admit that?" He didn't want to answer that question and just kept reiterating that they said they were forced to. I told him regardless of what he believes, you don't put people with that kind of awful background in major positions of power, that you don't take that kind of risk (I would've pointed out that it's because they were former Nazis that they were given their positions but that would've been delving deeper into history than they were clearly prepared for).
