Don't know if they're weevils, they're tiny brownish beetles (the dark dots you see in the front, for example).
No more pictures because I threw it away before they could spread to all of my kitchen. It looked like they couldn't leave the jar, so hopefully they didn't.
Be careful, and keep an eye out, we had an infestation of "Indian Pantry Moths" in our kitchen last year, and they did shit like this . . . The moths lay eggs on their food source, and they hatch tiny crawlers that can get into the smallest of cracks, where they gorge untill they turn into wormy looking things that pupate and turn into moths. Keep an eye out for webby looking cocoons in dark corners. Those fuckers got into everything that wasn't tightly sealed: flour, cereal, spices, crackers, chips, they went absolutely ham on my hanging string of Hatch New Mexico Chiles 😖 . . . It was a total nightmare, and took several months before it was completely dealt with; we had to wipe absolutely everything down with vinegar which nukes them, then bought a bunch of new tightly-sealing canisters, and got in the habit of freezing any bulk items for a few days before introducing them to the kitchen. Thanks! I had those in my old house, but not in this one so far. The spice jar already had some adult beetles, so thank God it's not those haha
