prob nothing this year, but last year i wore some bright red scrubs, slides w/ socks and did some sloppy joker-ish makeup. like not green hair, but dark eye sockets and white outlining/surrounding that. the makeup was cheap kids shit i saw at cvs and i am not like good or talented at that stuff at all. i just used qtips and my fingers to apply.
it was a big hit, supremely comfortable, and i had a bunch of low effort bits come to mind. "who are you supposed to be?" "just a cool guy you invite into your home." having somewhat of a reserved affect seemed to magnify it. like the kind of get up where a friend has already seen you 5 times at the party and commented on your costume, but they bump into you again coming around a corner and are like "jesus christ!" also, sweating and crying from laughing seemed to help the makeup too.
i came in second place in a contest i didn't even know was happening lol
about the only medium effort bit I did was like, quietly relocate outside and then sneak up to a picture window near some friends chatting and just stand there completely still, looking in at them until one saw me and drew attention. the rest of the time it was inadvertent, like im looking for the recycling and someone across the way is like "fuck!"
