There's something else going on there. The shape of Nigeria looks correct, but it's rotated out of place.

It's really not though... it looks closer to some random, amorphous shape I'd draw up for a DnD one-off than an actual country. If I were asked to draw Nigeria from memory, that's probably pretty close to what I'd come up with, but just Google how it actually looks and you can see the differences immediately

Upon further inspection I agree with you. I was focused on that coastal body of water Nigeria has.
