How long do you figure before they get the Flock AI declared a police officer, therefore any damage to an AI-enabled device counts as assaulting an officer?

Please don't give them ideas. Fido's one thing, but at least that's a sentient being that can feel pain. Officer Clanker, I hope to god, Satan, the FSM, and Jibbers Crabst, is many many decades away.

If they start declaring inanimate fucking objects or robots to be police officers, all it will mean is that the penalty for vandalism and cop killing is the same... so you might as well earn it.
