Dangerous to be an unarmed lefty in the empire these days. Been looking to change that.

Need something cheap, easy to use, easy to maintain, and with a common & cheap ammo type.

Any good recs?

Pump shotguns tend to be pretty cheap and easy to use and maintain. Mossberg Maverick 88s tend to be under $300 and work very well. Shotgun shells tend to be cheap too.

If you want a rifle, try to find an affordable AR-15 in 223.
