Description

"Ever wondered what it's actually like to live in a middle-class apartment complex in China? Today I'm taking you on a complete tour of my apartment community in Wuhan—from the security gates and package delivery system to playgrounds, community spaces, small businesses, and the little everyday details that make life here unique.

As an American who's lived in China for eight years, I'm always fascinated by the small things that locals barely notice but visitors find surprising. Come along and see what everyday neighborhood life in Wuhan is really like!"

In Hong Kong (China's capitalism tumor) we have an extremely exploitative situation for domestic workers, who are mostly Indonesian and Filipina imported labour working for very low minimum wage and terrible working hours.

It's extremely difficult for my Filipino side of the family to get visas to enter the mainland side of China as a result, because the government is extremely vigilant against human trafficking and cross-border families trying to smuggle their helpers across the border to do their technically-not-slave-labour on the mainland side.
