Honestly shit like this is making it highly unlikely I'll buy another Bethesda game.
and I actually mean it. Its not one of those situation like where you see 99.999% of gamers cry and whine about something, swear they'll never support the company again.. then go pre-order the most expensive edition of their next game. I actually vote with my wallet.
Same. I was a fan of Bethesda and bought each Fallout and Elder Scrolls, until Fallout 76. That game was an interesting concept but so prone to abuse, and it was abused heavily with mtx.
Looking at their list of releases, I loved the games that weren't actually made by them. Quake Live has a special spot in my heart, I used to log in on school computers to play it aha. Doom and Wolfenstein isn't even their creation. But Bethesda just seem like they minmax their profit. Minimal work for sky-high prices.
I would love to pay the actual developers of the games they publish.
