What sovcits don't understand is that even if their magical legalese made logical sense it wouldn't matter, because what determines the outcome of any legal proceeding isn't the letter of the law, but the interpretation of it by those tasked with carrying it out.

Yes, it is an odd belief system. They believe that the totalitarians have placed a trap door within their system, to allow divorced dads not to fall under the jurisdiction of totalitarianism.
