Hello everybody, hope everyone has had a good weekend. This week I have started a replay of the Mass Effect trilogy. I am playing the opposite of the way I played the first time I played through it, so I am going full renegade female Shepherd.

They tried to make the dichotomy between renegade and paragon akin to Loose cannon/by the book cop, but Renegade Shepherd is honestly steers between total asshole and complete psychopath, to which I've developed headcannon that my Shepherd is self conscious about being a women in a position of leadership and believes the way to gain respect is to overcompensate and act like a total murderous lunatic to show she's "one of the boys"

Anyway, hope everyone has a good week

The only game I've really gotten into all year has been Total War Warhammer, which I just keep playing for reasons that are beyond me. They redid the vikings completely, so I'm playing as the viking guy, Wulfrick, (I am not buying any DLC until it's for sale, I am broke) but he has a lot of very obvious gaps in the roster where DLC units are supposed to go.
They have a whole "Oh shit prove how dope you are with all these huge monster fights" thing going on and a bunch of mechanics are built around you recruiting these monsters, but each individual monster takes like 15 turns (And you can only start doing it on turn 8) to recruit and the game is basically over by turn 50. Also they're trying to tempt me into building altars to chaos to get access to the basic unupgraded infantry of another faction. But teleporting across the world beating people into submission and erecting statues of blood and sex gods in their capitals and then teleporting away once I get bored of fighting one type of enemy is fun.
