I thought bubs had a grubby spot on her lower back due to flea dirt but was told by a vet it’s simply because she can’t reach that one spot to wash (long back + stiff with arthritis). But also just got told by a vet nurse that it is flea dirt.

I’ve been a bit slack because she’s indoor only but I guess I tracked in some from the black cat outside.

Guess I’ll gently comb and wipe out if she lets me and re-treat. I don’t think I’ve given the flea and worm spot on yet this month. I need to make a space on the chore chart for monthly cat care jobs.

Unfortunately I don’t use any other insecticide than the topical. And diatomaceous earth/silica dust isn’t asthma safe. Washing all the cloth and vacuuming is going to be buns. 🫩
