Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

[A]lso after Charlie Kirk’s death, the Heritage Foundation twisted data to claim that “50% of all major (non-gang-related) school shootings since 2015 have involved or likely involved transgender ideology.” That was in an effort to get the FBI to create a new domestic terror threat category for “Transgender Ideology-Inspired Extremism.”

How much longer until they decide to just round up the transgender people with ~~the Gestapo~~ ICE? It's getting scary for transgender people.

I do not want to by a weapon but each day it seems I am getting closer.

Do it, its actually a very fun hobby (although it can get expensive). Spending an hour at the range is an awful lot like bowling or mini golf. There is a lot of skill involved and you get to go down the rabbit hole of choosing the best equipment.

I'd recommend asking around your group if anyone is going to the range soon and see if you can tag along. There are way more liberal gun owners than you can imagine, and everyone of them would love to take you on your first range trip.

Before you go, make sure you memorize the 4 rules.

If you can't find a range buddy, just about every range offers lessons. Shop around for one with good reviews. Most will supply the equipment. https://old.reddit.com/r/liberalgunowners/ is a good place to ask questions.

Grew up with guns in my house, my dad was a hunter. Learned the four rules as youngster. I've shot many times when younger. Last time was over ten years ago. Shot the 9mm until my thumb hurt from reloading. They gave me a box of 12ga slugs to shoot because I was there for my birthday.

The reason I hold back is I'm the person red flag laws were made for.

(Am I doxxing myself? Should I prepare for them coming to find me?)

Hello fellow angry person! I have similar struggles and concerns about my firearms, it's a wacky world these days. What's tough is that I can shoot in my yard, and shooting forces me to calm down if I want any accuracy, but I hate handling a rifle when I'm upset. Airgun solved that problem, now I have a pissy gun to go be pissy with in the yard and not scare anyone.

Nothing wrong with being prepared. Besides it's just a fun hobby right?

Buy one. It might be the difference between protecting your own, and the death camps.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago

Seems more likely to be the difference between getting killed immediately in your home, or slowly in a camp.

It seems like taking one or two out on the way appeals to lots of commenters on the Internet though.

Part of having a weapon is training with it and knowing how to use it. Simply buying a firearm and waiting for something to happen is not going to help you. I’d encourage you to fully utilize all rights that are afforded to you while you still have them.

I very much encourage you to not post things like that. Anything that gets close to sounding like actual violence against a public figure can be life-affecting in a super-bad way.

I wish no ill will towards AG Bondi.

I have enormous ill will against Pam Bondi, but only wish that a fair process of justice is done to hold her accountable for her crimes.
