I really wasn't sold on this song in-game for a long time. Until I was taking a drive from my japantown apartment to visit the aldecaldos, at night. I was already just enjoying the night time atmosphere, my headlights barely illuminating the world around me, and I hit a long straight stretch of road and started roaring down it, and that breakbeat came in in the chorus and it just hit different, and I got it. I got the song.

Then, weeks later, I finally binged Edgerunners, and all the gorgeous emotions I had before and gained in those moments in the anime mingled together and I fucking sobbed. The song took on 3 different forms for me over my time with it.

You didn't ask, but I felt compelled to share anyway
